Thanks for the advice everyone, looks like he's had to learn a very hard lesson. DPD can't supply any address so we're unable to chase these guys up if they don't respond any further. I am guessing they can't be 'sued' or anything via twitter or instagram !!
Appreciate all your help and feedback though, many thanks all.

For future use if you are buying anything over £100 use a credit card. That way the card company becomes jointly liable if there is a problem.

It's a hard lesson to learn, one that no one deserves.

I doubt they would've accepted a card payment.
No so easy to scam people using a card.

Whats the name they are using on Instagram / Twitter to sell the shoes?

Tell him to leave as many bad posts / reviews on their pages as possible..... if he does it enough they might refund the money to get rid of him!

No designers sell from instagram and twitter, especially the top end ones who deal strictly with a very select few top retailers.

They are fake but if you can't tell then alls good, blissful ignorance is the way to go.
  • My wife spent similar money on a pair and apparently you shouldn't use them outside :0
  • Lol they even have a 'stop fakes' section! :rotfl:
