Ooooh! Fancy dress theme!! Now there's a cracking idea!"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

After 3 months I'll have to give 3 months notice. From Christmas 2008 I'll be on 6 months notice I think.
I've been contracting at Big Bank so only had to give them a week.0 -

Any objections? If not I'll be in the ladies' of the Market Porter on Monday.
It would be politick to allow Melissa a response as she brought up the idea in the first place.
Go for it. Sorry, I've been a bit crap sorting this out so far - manic week for the past two weeks, boss has had twins and I'm doing all his work.
I went to the George yesterday, and also the Wheatsheaf on Friday night. Both were okay, but let's go with the Market Porter.Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
Incidentally, I doubt that the Market Porter would do this, but check there isn't a minimum spend at the bar for the room. I went out last night to a friend's party at Sway in Covent Garden, the min spend was 2000 and we didn't quite meet it! We all bought bottles of champers at the end to make it up.
(Fortunately, OH and I decided to go to the casino afterwards, where we won a 100 between us - pays for the night out!)Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
I'll check it out tomorrow.0

Hi all! Any progress? Is it possible to update the original post with new info about the meet up? (just an idea)"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0
