    1) MFW Nov 21 £202K now £172.5K Equity 36.11%
    2) £1.6K Net savings after CCs 14/8/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £25.6K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.2K) = 31.4/£127.5K target 24.6% 1/9/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 53.3K or 41.8%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise)

  • Hi all. 

    Not been on for a while. Nothing much has happened apart from working too much, and for what? Beginning to get so disheartened by it all. I’m literally working both jobs just to pay my bills and save a little bit. All of my wages from my main salary goes towards paying the bills, and the money from my 2nd job pays for petrol and food. There is then a bit left over, most of which I save, and the tiny bit that is left after that is there as a floater for anything else unexpected that crops up. 

    I’ve had to decrease my standard overpayment amount back down to £100, as I can’t afford to overpay by £300 as I was doing. So worried about the rising energy bills, and rising everything else bills!

    Fed up with working 2 jobs with not much to show for it. Am frazzled and fed up. Something needs to give as this can’t carry on…I have some thoughts in my head on what to do…will keep pondering them for now….if anyone has any suggestions on what I could do, please let me know!
