    Car savings: Target: £3500/ Achieved: £15.08 (0.4%)

We've had a nice but busy weekend. No car booting other than to have a look yesterday. I just bought little jwil a Lego set and a book. DH bought little miss a Paw Patrol playset so they were both happy.

I didn't buy the car which we went to see, I wasn't happy with it. However, we did unexpectedly manage to purchase a car yesterday! Very happy with it so far. It was £500 over what I'd hoped to spend, hence the increased budget. However, hopefully it will last many years like my previous one. DH has stumped up the cash, so now I want to get him paid back asap.

Payday today :T Another lower wage due to unpaid leave, but not as bad as I'd thought. I look forward to a proper wage again next month!

Totals for the month updated. I have dipped into the emergency fund and the debt savings to pay towards the car (including tax and insurance). I haven't completely wiped out either, and have paid DH a nice chunk back.

The tax payment seems to have gone through twice  so I've contacted DVLA to ask for a refund.

So back to the debtbusting now. I have prepped some items to go on eBay so will try and get those on this week. I've also got a couple of items ready to go which just need to be photo'd.

The weather is looking ok for this weekend, so the plan is for DH to go car booting while I take little jwil to a party, and then maybe I'll try and sell on Monday as well, as DH is working.

I received my £50 from YouGov so that went straight to the car pot.

It took me so long to get the last few points, the surveys are definitely not as frequent at the moment.

This morning I prepped another load of items to go on ebay. I must try and get them listed now!

I've received another £3 from a survey site so that will go to the car pot.

Had some good news at work today too, I'm going to be much more heavily involved in a big project coming up. It should be interesting and challenging, so I'm pleased after my moaning the other week :D:D
