Yes, it's really goodretiredandskint wrote: »I can only agree with what the others have said jwil. We're coming out of what, seems like a long miserable winter, which doesn't help. There is light at the end of the tunnel, debts will be cleared, clutter will be gone and miss jwil will be going to school.
You do sterling work and children will always push those buttons to make you feel guilty. If you walked jwil jnr to school everyday he'd want to know why you could drive him there :rotfl:
Thanks retired. I don't think the weather helps. I was moping today though as I had to go to work and so haven't seen the sun :rotfl:
Very true about little jwil, he would be complaining about the walk. Actually, you've reminded me, we did walk when he was doing his half days, he complained about that then :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". You will always feel guilty as a parent whatever you do, but a good job will help you to become debt free sooner and build up financial stability for your family.

Yes, and I'm trying to remember this now. Loving the sun at last, hoping it stays for a while!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Little jwil got his wish today. I walked down to school with little miss in the pushchair and took their scooters so they could scoot home. He was so happy bless him. There is one point where we have to walk up a very steep hill. I was pushing the pushchair with little miss in it and carrying the scooters and school stuff, so I stopped for a breather for a second. Little jwil said “keep going mummy, just pretend you are reading a book” :heart2: :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". We managed to sell at a car boot on Sunday :T Did quite well, another 64 books gone :T :T
The one we like to go to on a Saturday was cancelled again, so we went to look at a different one, with a view to maybe selling there in the future. The good thing about that one, is that they have a stall which will accept donations of goods to raise funds for the air ambulance, so you can offload (decent) things that you haven't sold :T
Little miss and I have a nasty cough at the momentIt's quite frustrating, but hers seems to be getting better so hopefully mine will too! I've been shattered due to lack of sleep.
It looks like I'll be losing the emergency fund and probably my debt savings soonMy car was playing up again and frightened me by losing power on a busy roundabout, so I've had enough now and will be looking for a new one. I need to try and find as much extra cash as I can to try and get something half decent. I have 3 months left of MOT so will probably try and find something by then.
I've got to £50 on YouGov :T :T So that will add to the pot when it arrives."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
