Whatever you decide enjoy.
Thanks retiredBaths aren't my thing, nor sleeping in the day. But I'm going to get a few bits done and also spend a LOT of the day reading and maybe decluttering an easter egg

It's amazing how productive I can be when there's no one underfoot :rotfl:
So far I've:
Cleaned over the kitchen
Cleaned bathroom and bleached floor
Put washing away
Sorted through my clothes and KM folded them, put a few more bits to go
Stripped little miss' cot
Put a wash on
Done a short exercise DVD
Checked bank accounts and PADded
Checked whether to switch energy (it doesn't seem worth it at the moment)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I've now hoovered through downstairs and the stairs, pulled everything out and have shampooed the carpet in the living room. Popped the heating on to help dry it. I'm going to put all the dog beds through the wash too to freshen them up.
I've had a letter from one of my creditors asking for an I&E update. Thanks to the brilliant NEDCAB website where I am self managing my DMP, I could just go into there, print out my I&E and a template letter straight away. Used the envelope provided by the creditor so saved a stamp. It's taken seconds!
The letter from the creditor also tells me to get in touch if I want to discuss a F&F with them. As this debt is still with the original creditor, I doubt they would accept much less so I'm not going to worry about that at the moment. I'll reconsider when I've got some more savings."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I love it when you get loads done. Three of the kids have gone to their dad's for the weekend and my ex is going to take the youngest two for the day tomorrow, so tomorrow there will only be me and the oldest at home and she pretty much sorts herself out. This doesn't happen often so I plan on making the most of the day. Will do lots of tidying and sorting and cleaning and probably go to the gym for a bit. I can't wait and you getting your list done has spurred me on for the day!
Enjoy the rest of your child free day!0 -
