    Hi,

I originally accessed the site for free but did then pay £10 for a years access to be able to use the letter templates.

They did come back with my cca being UE and this has now been agreed by the creditor so my debt dropped by 9K.. well worth the £10....

    Puzz. x

Thanks for the info. Says £10 for membership but then 99p for access to legal threads and resources. Was wondering if the 99p option would be enough if I am just wanting to seek advice as to whether or not a debt is UE?
Just thinking ahead...have no idea what they will come back as yet...:)

So following my letters offering token payments and asking for bank details I have received my first letter from
Link which is not even a letter it is an income and expenditure form. I enclosed one of these with my token payment letter so am ignoring it? Is that ok to do? Do not see why I should give them the same info twice if they cannot be bothered to look at it.
And they will not be getting anything unless the provide me with bank details. Has this happened to others on self managed?
Not troubled by it now would have been once over but if they do not give me what I have asked for I cannnot pay them!
  • Carbootcrazy why don’t you give them a ring they might surprise you like they did with me. Providing you ya e some funds that is. Good luck
I have just checked the bank and the money I paid still hasn’t left the account yet. It is ear marked to leave my account but as yet it is still there. Fingers crossed they take it. I have authorisation code aswell.
    :D

Yes we ignored any more requests for I&E's, once we had sent the original ones.
Also we have now been waiting nearly a month for one creditor to provide bank details....their loss...:rotfl:

There's always one that doesn't want to play nice. With us it was B/Cd and L**yds. Might be worth just giving them a quick ring just to make sure they have it on their system that you are on the DMP and give them the SC reference.

If they still keep hassling you send a letter here's a link to the stepchange template letters web page the one you need is letter to reduce creditor calls remember to add that you want them to remove any contact no's they have for you and only contact you in writing going forward.

Great thanks for that. I have emailed them covering the DMP and Stepchange with an attached copy of the letter. I just cant have them ringing me at work like that and cant exactly answer my mobile at work either.
