We've done the 'borrowing' loo roll thing. For years my OH only pooed at work as he figured this way he didn't use our loo roll and he got paid to poo. ALso jacket potatoes and beans were all we ate for weeks and weeks because it cost so little, and we would just feed the boys something better. I also had ( ok ok I still do) a jug under our dripping tap so I don;t have to use water.
Oh the joys of being skint, but now we are out of debt we appreciate everything we do manage to get and I'm sure if you never go through those skint days you don't appreciate what you get in the end!!!May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -

I do the dripping tap thing! I use it to either fill the kettle or water plants.
