quick update....cars been in storage for a few weeks now. the idiot is still ignoring letters and texts. I'm going to make sure he thinks twice before selling a car again.

I brought a car from a garage 2 weeks ago

which takes you back to the 10th roughly its now the 27th so 17 days have passed and at this rate i think i may have ignored you too..........

sorry don't really understand what u mean....I had to park car up because it is unsafe to use.

what i mean is in the course of the 17 days you have been busy ie kwik fit, then independent garage numerous letters and emails and you have filed for small claims court. Did you allow the seller any time or chance to respond?

plenty of time....car was purchased originally end of Feb. he's been ignoring ever since

Your major mistake was paying in cash to a guy you have no evidence of...

But if you take it to court you should win. Calm down, send a letter before action, and then bring a court case.
