  • Use Entropay. You need to register but it's not tied to an address, so you can use your real address on Entropay and make up a fake one for the streaming website.

so when the police come knocking they can trace the address of the person paying as they gave it to the payment provider
  • Well it depends what you're buying. If you're trying to buy hitman services on the dark web then clearly Entropay won't help you. If it's some streaming service etc. then you can be fairly sure nobody's going to go to extreme lengths.

What I mean is Entropay cards will pass AVS with any address and that's good enough to get around meaningless country restrictions.

Say someone who you've bought an illegal service from gets busted, and their accounts are scrutinised, then an unregistered pre-paid card will not be a method of being connected as a historical sale.

    Theoretically, of course.
However their computer may have recorded the history of transactions and may be including your IP address that could be traced to you. If that doesn't work they could check via the ISP that is used to connect to the internet to get your IP address from, and then from your ISP your address.
Things are rarely as anonymous as you may think.

There are such services like paysafecard that can be bought in shops for cash and used, but if the reason is to keep anonymous rather than financially unlinked then are you using a tunnelling service and how certain are you they are not keeping any records, etc...

Well I don't want to get into this debate, but the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that a temporary copy of work, copywritten or not, is not breaking copyright. So in fact, streaming is not actually breaking the law. For now...

This is money saving expert, and I asked about prepaid cards. Thats all!
In the spirit of moneysaving, if streaming pirated content, why pay at all?
  • There's a certain irony in paying for pirated content.
