    The standard of commercial radio in the UK is rubbish, in terminal decline even - so much networking, and the dreaded playlist where a small number of songs are repeated x of times daily. And the DJ's reading scripts all day long, only breakfast and drivetime shows being allowed off the leash.

    Thank goodness for BBC national and local radio, and long may it continue. Huey Morgan on 6Music and Radio 2 is my favourite.
