When he started on radio 2 I lasted about two days. He constantly shouts and sounds creepy when talking to children. "Top tenuous" is a sports presenter joining in the show with forced hilarity with more shouting and Moira Stewart laughs like Sid James. I don't see why anyone finds it worth listening to.
Wogan was entertaining. Evans is just noise.

Planet Rock, which unfortunately is only on DAB, is normally quieter and more relaxing.

Elaine Paige on Sunday afternoon is when I switch the radio off. Don't like her don't like the music she plays. I used to check if the radio has switched channels to a different station with the music she plays and then she plays her own songs.

For me Ken Bruce and Jeremy Vine are the best DJ on Radio 2.

Graham Norton is great on tv but rabbits on too much on the radio.

Don't bother with Heart, because one thing you wont get is "more music variety" .
I'm sure they just play the same 15 songs on a loop.

They used to have radio 2 on at work at breakfast then me - I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Terry Wogan retired - I just found him intensely irritating. (I do realise this is sacrilege on here, but I couldn't stand listening to him.)
Now it's radio 4 and a sigh of relief.

And the constant repartition of mindless commercials pandering to the lowest common denominator within a society that seems incessantly unable to think for them selves .

Fart radio here go as far as to edit the few 80s songs they do play.
