BT to EE ?

Just to update this post
I didn’t switch to EE, BT actually matched EE’S package price, I was pretty shocked!
We’ve been locked into a 24 month contract – (this doesn’t matter to us as land lord pays it and they see it as on the rent not on us) – but I was very happy with BT here (for a change)
Proof it pays to haggle!0 -
Callers who do not have inclusive calls to geographic numbers starting 01 and 02 and non-geographic numbers starting 03 on weekdays during the day are instead paying around 20p per call plus around 12p per minute for these calls. It does not take many such calls before the bill for these calls is larger than the unlimited Anytime deal would have cost.
Signing up for a weekend or evening and weekend inclusive deal is often a false economy. While some landline providers have changed their basic deal from evening and weekend to weekend only, it must be noted that at the same time the anytime deals usually now also include calls to mobile numbers. The only major landline provider to not yet offer this is BT.0 -
Typically they cost £8 a month
Should be easy for ppl to see what they spend on calls a month.0 -
We do need the landline, we live in a no signal area so typically it is the only way people can get through to us and my partner needs this line for work. One day we'll catch up with the rest of the world and achieve phone signal!0
