I'm hoping that by changing bedclothes this morning that I am going to find myself ahead of a list some day soon!
Anyway, vacc'd downstairs this morning, managed to get to cleaning the bathroom and loo, and even mopped the floors in the kitchen, loo and bathroom. Pleased with progress, as I also managed to slip in a play with a friend's gorgeus spaniel puppy, and get into the garden for an hour or so once the rain had finally stopped.
Just listening to the news from London....
  • I've been doing flylady (silently) along with you all this week. 1 week in and I can definitely see a difference! Our hall is small so today will be an easy day and give me a chance to do a couple of things I haven't got round to so far (generally I will vacuum the whole house at once).

Can definitely see over a relatively short time the house will be sparkling! We are quite untidy but the last 2 days I have noticed tidying up in the morning has been a 20 minute job throughout the house :)

    Hi all :)

How the **** is it Thursday already?! I genuinely do not know where the time goes. Big squishy hugs all round.

WM has just finished its 3rd load, the dog has been bathed and carpets washed to get the mud off from the veeerrry muddy dog walk we went on. Until the weather gets warmer I think we will stick to road walks, a lot less muddy and no need to deep clean the house after each one!

Off out shortly for a quick lunch with Mum and Grandma, then school run time. DS has been really really mischievous, although he's 3 we still seem to be in the terrible 2s, I find it so wearing sometimes. He just can't play nicely with his sister without clobbering her every two minutes, then having a tantrum. I keep uttering "this too shall pass" like a crazy woman. At least he's good at pre-school.

Sorry, that turned into a witter. Have lovely afternoons all xx

Exactly ATB!!! Thursday?? I'm still chasing Tuesday. Another too long day at work, when it should have been 4 hours and home for lunch. Still, I had put the dinner in the slow cooker before I left so came in to the smell of beef casserole cooking. Ran the vacuum around the landing and stairs, and then sorted a few bits out on the pooter. Waiting for DH to get home so that we can eat - DD couldn't wait that long! Still, to whoever has stolen my DD and replaced her with one that is doing her homework every evening - a big squishy thank you :rotfl:

Sorry not been in this week so hope everyone is as well as can be.
    Uber busy at work
Annoyed that last Saturday I suddenly realised I'm not wearing the bracelet my dad bought me any more. It never leaves my wrist! So must have fallen of somewhere, I've asked everywhere I can think that I've been recently but to no avail. It's a Rhonda Sutton pandora style one that he got me for my 50th so if anyone has any finding vibes going spare I'd apprechiate them.
Got time off tomorrow to run an errand with mil but will be busy all day. Im s&sing but will try and get back on track after the weekend.

    Hugs to all

Aww, hope you find the bracelet Mrs MP xx

I'm another one who's week must have skipped a day or two... But I have been flying, honest.

Today I did bathrooms, plus dailies, plus I planted out a few leafy seedlings. I've done some reading too, and we had the usual gymnastics / football night. Oh and I sorted my plastic tub shelf in the kitchen today too. Much neater.

WM is on with DS 'skinnies' lol - his base layer stuff (and other bits of course) but I thought I'd get them washed for the weekend.

They have non-uniform day tomorrow and red noses at the ready, lunches and bags sorted, remembered meeting with my mums social worker that I'd forgotten

Aww, DD got full marks on her yr2 spellings today, her TA said she was amazed she'd be able to spell pyjamas :) and DS also got full marks on a random test - they are running a "spelling bee" and he was one of just 2 in his class to get them all right :T we have parents evening next week so I'm expecting good stuff for both my wee beasties :D

Right, washing is finished, off I go!

    Night all xx

atb I saw someone struggling with a toddler yesterday and wanted to go over and hug her, she looked close to tears. I wanted to tell her that my eldest was horrendous at that age and like you it used to exhaust me. Now at 18 he is the sweetest, gentlest, most easy going young man that you could find!

Well done on the spellings young Bossys. Finding vibes MrsMP, really hope it turns up.

Check up at hospital with DS this afternoon so not much else achieved. Oh I did manage to swish the floors though and scrub the bath and shower while I was in it! Anxious at the moment and not sleeping very well. It will pass.

I hope the Staffie booking goes well, LW. Kelpie got so over-excited playing with the puppy I had to take him outside, which meant OH played with the puppy instead of me. Ho hum.

Welcome Determined New MS! Isn't it lovely when you realise that being a Flylady makes life easier?!

*Bracelet finding vibes* heading your way Mrs MP.

OH is away for 48 hours so I've been playing with the cat and dog and doing a bit of sewing. I'm sort of on top of things Flying-wise and a quick scoot around tomorrow afternoon will bring it up to snuff. And I'll have two lap quilts to show for my time, one of which I'm particularly pleased with.
    Better is good enough.

Ionafan and I have been thinking about having a Flylady Meet on Monday 3 April in either Plymouth or Totnes if anyone would care to join us. If so, could you let me know? We can't decide where it would be best to meet so thoughts on venues would be appreciated if anyone is able to join us.
    Better is good enough.
