  • Hi all x

Got up to snow this morning, the flakes were huge. Left a bit earlier for work, good job got stuck behind an articulated that was wheel spinning and then a tanker was blocking the road I work on. Got OH to drop me just before tanker and I walked in, it's only 10 minutes but I could have done without it. Got to lunch time only to discover that I hadn't put cooked meat on my sandwiches so had lettuce and cucumber on wholemeal. At least I managed to get everyone else's right.:rotfl:

I've done 1 x WM and TD since I got home, made dinner, washed up, made the packed lunches and got into my jammies. Just finishing my cuppa and I'm off to bed with my book.

    Promise to try harder tomorrow!

    Hi all

Keeping up with the basics but thats about it. Mountains of washing done this week, goodness knows where it all comes from.

Hugs to those feeling down. We all need a bit of proper spring weather I think. I am a bit tired at the moment but plodding along.

Really pleased for you about the good news for a change, Jazee. Hope your DH continues to improve. xx

Well done Valli and froddy. I managed to put on 3 lb this work - that's all my good work from the past 6 weeks wasted :( Must do better.

Glad you're the new job's going well, FFP :T

Thanks for all anti-migraine thoughts. I think it has just about gone now. I am tired tonight, but I have been to college and it's hard work! Got my mark for the February essay today; I'm pleased with it, but now I have just 10 days to knuckle down and write the next one before we go on holiday. And I'm out most of tomorrow...

Will PM you later tomorrow, Honey Bear.

    Morning.
Glad that you got some positive news Jazee.
Another one here who is struggling through keeping up with the dailies. Feeling a bit bleurgh at the moment, but for no good reason. I think it is the weather...I've seen spring, and now don't like this wind, rain and cold. I had find the scraper again yesterday morning for the car - but nothing like FFP had to face.
I'm going to try to do better today. If I can't get out in the garden, I guess I had better fly!
    Catch you later.

I'm so glad you've had some good news, Jazee.

Commiserations, Ionafan, on the pounds. These things happen. Don't worry about PMing me - some things can wait and it sounds as though you're running on empty at the moment.

Kelpie's got his swimming this morning and that means I get to play with the owner's puppy again for a few minutes because it helps with his socialisation. Excited!

Dailies happening here at long last, which means I'm managing to keep on top of things. That's taken a few years but I'm getting there.
    Better is good enough.

  • Hi. Just wanted to say a quick hello. Haven't been on here in a long time. I'm currently off work poorly and the house is a complete tip. Was sat wondering where to start and remembered this thread.

I've rinsed yesterday's washing as forgot to put it on airers and then set both washers going. Going to load airers and see how much of today's list I can do. I currently have something growing in my ear causing vertigo so might not manage much but really need to do something. Will update later.

How super; Kelpie really has fallen on his paws coming to you! :o I have a 4 y.o. Staffie to look forward to; she's coming from 3rd to 8th April. :T

Struggling with Flying at present (though Mr LW is doing lots:A) but it's partly because I have to do ALL the washing up for 4 weeks; and he usually does the lion's share of that. I'll explain - I have been sent a HUGE bottle of WUL to test and review; but it has to be just one person's thoughts, and they request that one person only use it for the 4 weeks of the test period (I did find their "please hand this to the female head of household" comment a tad non-pc; I mean, what about a gay couple, then? Where's their female head of household might I ask??) But I digress - I had to weigh it at the outset, and measure the level to the fill line, and I have to do this again after each 6 uses and record it. It's a lot of faffing about - but it's 1.4litres of free WUL. :money::D

Anyways, I aiten't dead, just not posting much cos no real Flying to report. :o
