You could also buy some wraps and have some mexican chilli wraps. Aldi veg is 19p & 29p, so you could get 4 packs for 96p and make bean stew/curry. mmmm - think I should do some of that myself. Easier said than done, I know.
Does anyone know where I can get money off a first time Ocado shop.
Love the sound of this.Slimming World at target0 -
Hiya folks
Sorry I've been AWOL but been poorly - slowly improving now
DH has done some shopping and I need to round up the receipts. At least he is well-trained to save them all so just need to do a reconciliation
Hope you all have a lovely Easter Monday - we don't celebrate the holiday here as DH has to work as normal

Reporting in late after the big Saturday shop. It felt like an expensive one; it included Easter chocolate, and I tried to lay in more snacks and lunches than usual because it's the holidays (the girls have packed lunches and Mr Expert takes dinner leftovers usually, so it shouldn't make a difference, but when they're all home they want cooked breakfasts and snacks and things) AND I needed coffee beans AND then Mr E decided to go out to the shops and buy something ready made for the girls' dinner on Saturday. It came in at $195.69, which is the most expensive for a few weeks, but it's still well below what an Olden Days big blowout week would have looked like.
Month to date: $588.63/$1000 with 3/5 weekly shops done.MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028

haven't spent anything for last few days, hoping to do a YS shop later today. xx0

So, not for the first time
I over-estimated the healthiness of our bank hol weekend lunches and have a huuuge bag of spinach leaves.
It says it's 3 servings! At that rate I'd have to eat about a mixing bowl full of the stuff every time.
I'll add some to the sweet potato and chickpea curry I'm making - otherwise I just put it in wraps, pittas etc. with lunch fillings. But can I freeze it? Any other ideas for using up a glut of spinach?GC Feb 2019 (to 10th) £397.07/£3000 -
