A year ago I moved 5 plants in my garden. They were badly positioned - 3 were starved of light in summer as they were under a tree and 2 were being crowded out. Anyhoo, they are all still alive and thriving :T - getting lots of new growth on them this spring. Chuffed as this is very money saving, as plants are expensive, but it seemed like a risk to move them as they might have died.

When MSE was down at the weekend I worked on the garden. Made 3 hanging baskets using bought bedding plants from homebase - at a cost of just £4 each:T:D Chuffed 'cos they look as good as shop bought. 3 of my other hanging baskets survived the winter in tact. They are filled with conifers, ivy and spring flowering heather. Filled up my pots with bedding plants, so my patio is looking lovely...

but.........omg_smiley.gif I have (and my youngest ) really bad hayfever at the moment ill-violated-dead-smiley-9437.gif

    Kind Regards

Poor SMF2, do tablets not help?

Well done on getting the hanging baskets done!

When things get really bad - nothing helps. It's the beautiful blossom on the trees that does it:rolleyes:....it's sooooo beautiful too :o

Can you get local honey from your area? This will include the pollen from the flora in the locality and it may over time help your body to adjust (or is it only a myth?)

Hi SMF2.. Hope both of you are better soon

I have also been thinking of making my own baskets this year... but just thinking if it will prove to be more expensive than the shop bought one as you need a different compost for it and also will have to buy plants...

Also I am generally rubbish with Gardening. Though I think will give it a try.
