I've just found out that a very close friend has developed DVT. They had been sat at their desk for 14 hours without a break:eek:....They are in their early 40's
...anyway this is a wake up call for me to up my exercise. Not so long ago I was doing much more exercise, now I spend far too much time worrying about the credit crunch (this involves reading) and not enough time worrying about my health....
This is my "Statement of Intent" to get healthy as well as wealthy

A friend of mine got DVT too - she was in her late 20s and ultra fit! She banged her leg and it was really swollen - she didn't want to go to the hospital but one of my collegues frog marched her there (its very close to where we work)! She was put on anticoagulants and couldn't drink alcohol or exercise at all for months. All ok now though!I hope your friend is ok...

Sadly, my friend works too hard, smokes and doesn't exercise enough....but is great fun...
Anyhoo, last night I spent an hour (and 3 minutes;)) exercising....which was much better than I expected as I thought I would be knackered after 20 minutes:rotfl:and amazingly I can still walk this morning...
