What colour paint for kitchen?

Id get something to blend in with the units rather than a contrast. It would give a more spacious and uniformed look. Use colour as an accent, ie. Tea towels/hand towels, cups/mugs, utensil holders etc. You can give a whole new look then by just changing these items. With this neutral scheme you could choose your favourite colours. I'd probably go for vivid pinks, purples. Even splashes of orange. If you've got colourful clothes, try hanging an item up in the kitchen and see what colour brings it to life.0

We have that same shade of Sage paint, too. Cream shaker units, mottled cream tiles, dark marble browny work tops.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

so i decided i dont like the paint (its too pinkish). so will change to polished pebble. what do you guys think of this paint?
also i am undecided what to go for in terms of the walls under the wall units. i am going for a white quartz worktop. what do you think is best out of these 3 options, keep in mind that its a modern handless gloss cashmere kitchen with grey floor tiles (and long and narrow space):
- option 1: 10cm upstands and splashback upto the cooker in quartz.
- option 2: 10cm upstands and mosaic tile as splashback upto cooker hood
- option 3: mosaic tile everywhere under wall units and hood.0 -
i am thinking about these tiles if i go for option 2 or 3:

Warm shades make a room look warm and cosy. Cool shades are lovely but make a room look cold. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
