Hi there
was wondering if anyone had any thought what colour paint to paint my ktichen walls. its a 4m x 1.7m separate kitchen (units placed so thats its in an L shape on one of the long and short sides of the wall).
I have medium grey floor tiles, cashmere units and white quartzz worktop and upstands (10cm) with splashback to extractor hood.
was wondering what colour to paint the walls, including between the wall units and upstands?
Do you think its a good idea having two colours, one for where units are and other for other two walls?
please help as cant decide!
thanks

I think grey would look nice. Just one colour to avoid looking fussy and bitty. I used Farrow and Ball Elephants Breath in my bathroom - looks lovely but so many beautiful shades of grey asround these days.0

Although OP's kitchen sounds pale, would a shade or two darker be better?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

thanks i love that grey. you think its better to use one colour for all 4 walls? its a long narrow closed kitchen. has enough light through a window though.0 -
We've done the ceilings, bulkhead and walls around the units white, then the dining area walls in Dulux Originals bird egg. Works really well.0

Ive never been a fan of different colours on walls but they can look nice. I'd probably use a darker shade from the same colour group though. I'd rather use colour through pictures etc. But it's only paint so have a go. I once painted a whole room and decided a week later I couldn't live with it.0 -
cyclamen or lightish purple heather?0

hey guys
so i went with natural hessian in the end. i really like the colour as its got some grey in it and not too light or dark. just right.
now the final bit is choosing the worktop. im going with quartz but in terms of colour i have no idea. will be getting upstands and splashback only where hob is.
i dont want it looking to clinical or bland. keep in mind medium grey floor tiles, lightish grey walls, cashmere units. so what worktop to get that wont make it look bland? colours/patterns?

anyone? i need to decide soon.0

Vantablack - It will hide any imperfections in the wall/ceiling and will give an impression of space.
Failing that, polished plaster - It's what I'm going for, probably a loud green and bright red.Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
