Kensington Mortgage application timescale

Had an old loan queried last week, after going through all paperwork etc a while ago. Not heard back since, starting to think it's going to fall through now0

Its been a week since sent something over, they were previously turning stuff around quickly, until they delayed offering till confirming something on my credit report. I've sent everything I can, and now getting radio silence from them, even when broker is chasing.
At what point do you just give up? Don't know if I can take the stress of it all anymore - been looking at trying to sell the house, think that's going to be a better bet than getting this pushed through. Was all going relatively well, now it's just hit a dead end even when I've given them everything they've asked for.0 -
Can your broker not even get an idea of where the file is at or what timescales before you hear anything further?0

They've tried, just getting nothing back. I've resigned myself to it not going ahead now, and making plans to sell my house as this was effectively my last resort before doing so.
Hope it goes better for you! from what I've seen, some people get offers in 3-4 days, fingers crossed they're quicker with you.0 -
Still nothing back - was told would get an answer by the end of the day Monday, chased again today with my broker, and was told that they'd been promised an answer today.
I know people have said earlier in this thread that they take time, but their site says 1 working day for queries etc. It's been 2 weeks today since my valuation, and a week since they were given proof of the loan they queried.
I think my best bet is to withdraw my application - my fixed term is up soon so I need to either be remortgaging or selling by then, and it looks like the remortgage isn't happening0 -
My EA told me last Tuesday the mortgage had been offered but it’s not arrived yet in the post
This is agony!0 -

Congratulations, hopefully the rest goes smoothly for you. I've handed over everything additional they've asked for, usually within an hour. As of today it's been over a week to assess an old (closed) loan, which was one sheet of a4 paper, and they've said on 3 separate days they'll have an answer by the end of the day, and every time have not come back.
With regards to giving up hope - already done that!0 -
My mortgage advisor could log in and see status
It took 7 days from final bit of paperwork submitted to them offering the mortgage0
