The "snowflake generation" is a specific term used to describe those who became adults in the 2010s and has been in use this past 20 years ish - believed to have stemmed from a line in the 1996 Novel "Fight Club" (and subsequent 1999 film) - "You are not special. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Snowflake
If you want to apply it to one 70 year old out of the entire earths population to try to make a totally unrelated point then thats your prerogative.
The baby boomer generation were labelled as the "Me Generation" by their peers for acting in the same way. The Snowflake label is thrown around in the same way in the same circumstances as the Me label - rising youth unemployment, expenses etc as the post war generation and boomers pull up the drawbridge
Think this quote applies nicely for the "snowflake generation"?
"The counts of the indictment are luxury, bad manners, contempt for authority, disrespect to elders, and a love for chatter in place of exercise."
Well you'd be wrong, that was written in 1907, talking about how the Ancient Greeks talked about their kids.
http://mentalfloss.com/article/52209/15-historical-complaints-about-young-people-ruining-everythingSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

True
I've an A45 AMG. 0-60 in 4.2s, 376BHP, AWD. Generally speaking, if i want to pass something, i will
375BHP, is that all??
An SRT Hellcat puts out 707 American Horsepowers, from a proper supercharged V8.
Around $64,000. (Before Brexit that would only have been about £15,000, now it would be more like £64,000 )
Should be adequate though- on a wide straight road
I want a grey one :jI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

No doubt quick, but american stuff doesnt appeal to us. We drove the Mustang 5.0 V8 and didnt like it.
I guess we'll see what floats our boat next time.
In the meantime theres a degree of subtlety with the A45 which i like. Everyone thinks its a A180CDI until its too late.... :cool:0 -

Yes, I quite fancied the original blue focus RS for that reason. Lose the RS badge and chrome tailpipe and it looks fairly standard.
Decent ones still go for stupid money, and spares make Suzuki seem cheap.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
