    Thank you very much, ordered 2 also. Ideal for Xmas,just by luck last night i seen them listed had to be quick though,and even used a vocher for £10 off so total was £48 with free delivery and through quico as well and already tracked at £4 something so say £44 for two of these things must say is a great deal.

    thank you.

    Keep an eye on these seem to pop up now and again.

    Mine turned up on, complete with a dent - hardly suprising with the poor way it was packed. I phoned JL direct and they offered me £3 - I declined and they asked me how much I'd accept. When I said £10 they offered me £5. I therefore asked them to replace it, which they refused as the only one in stock was now priced at £89 - these people have obviously don't know consumer law. They would only offer me £5 off or a full refund, nothing else. After much discussion I was given the £10.

    You may draw you own conclusions from this tale.
  • :confused: Mine too arrived in a battered box and with a gash in digital display, Phoned CS who have offered to credit my on-line account with £10 as a gesture of goodwill. Have decided to keep damaged microwave as it works fine, but was so disappointed.
  • I am planning to return mine and have asked for a refund as I believe mine is faulty. The turntable does not rotate properly (it falls off the cradle sometimes when it's going round and other times won't rotate at all) and the outside of the microwave gets very hot to the touch during use. The instruction manual says it should only get hot when the grill is in use. Now I'm wondering if there was a reason these were reduced :rolleyes: Filled in their online returns form, waiting for a response. Agree with the people who mentioned the poor packaging - it was packed in a plastic bag and left on the doorstep by their courier who didn't even check that we were in!

    Well i got two for xmas gifts and not even opened the bags they are in, as they are xmas gifts did not want to open them but maybe after reading these posts i should at least check they are ok from say damaged box etc.
    Has anyone emailed john lewis to ask what they are reduced are they returned used products,faulty or what?maybe we are not getting a good deal like we thought,but i cant complain at £48 for two with free p+p and also £4 quidco so really £44 but even thought as gifts you want them to be ok

    I was originally impressed with this offer..i ordered on the 24th oct and it arrived on Saturday.

    Perfect box not battered like others have been saying...plugged in and worked great.....

    Until today....

    It's died on me!:mad::mad:

    I called up John Lewis how referred me to Panasonic for a repair, so i called them who then said they dont exchange only repair and since my purchase is within 28days John Lewis should exchange it...

    So.....

    Called JL again, agreed to exchange but surprise surprise it's out of stock and would i like to choose another and pay the difference.....my answer...NO!:mad:

    Then the next offer is that new stock will be there in 2 weeks time and that i could call up then and exchange....but when i queried that price diference and that i would not be willing to pay differece, she couldn't say what would happen...so i told her that it's a fair exchange of faulty goods for replacement and that since same model etc there shouldnt be any price difference as it's like for like...

    So now im waiting for this to be 'looked at closer' by a superviser or something, and will be getting a phone call within 24hrs...grr!
