Thanks

It depends on what your needs are and the coverage in your area. EE and Three are the two best networks.

The best option is SIM only. You can compare SIM only deals on uSwitch.

As above best for me may not give you best coverage where you want to use the phone .

Get your phone unlocked and go SIM only. Much greater choice and avoids being stuck with a 2 year deal.

There are offers at the moment from Vodafone, EE and Three on SIM only. Virgin (uses EE network) offer only 30 day SIM contracts. Look around and compare but check directly with the networks as some offers are only around for a couple of weeks. The Voda and EE offers end 14/15th March, Three don't mention an end date... but said last Friday.

    Above all, check the T&Cs.

I hardly think Vodafone (or EE for that matter) represents "the best mobile phone provider".

    Depends on your usage too.

Which networks have the best coverage when at home, at work or out and about if going from site to site.

    Define best provider ?

Vodafone definitely doesn't get that title, not sure about EE though.

    1. Find which network you want ( and ensure phone is unlocked)
    2. Do you need fast data?
    3. Choose a provider depending what minutes/phone you want

Easy. The opposite of Vodafone. Though it should be defined by the OP, since it was they who asked the question.

The best coverage is supposedly EE, the worst customer service is probably EE or Vodafone. Tesco get good reviews on the whole.

EE and 3 are very patchy where I live. Lose signal in my house. Voda and O2, plus their virtual netwroks, are the only choice that I have.

Therefore, by deduction, these are my 2 best networks.

If I move house, I may have a different view.

But anyone taking out a contract is, in my opinion, a fool if they don't test out reception where it matters before entering into any commitment. A PAYG sim is worth the £10 iinvestment first.
