Yes i know exactly how housing benefit works. But if the OP was claiming any amount of housing benefit then i doubt they would be on here complaining about their rent when they don't even pay all of it!.

Why do you doubt that? They are complaining about 30 pence a week.

I'm not on any benefits. What I don't like is the grass on my street is owned by the council so when you ask the HA what grass are they cutting they just say communal areas but they won't say where they are.
