Well, here's an odd thing... I got a message to say my password hadn't been changed for 268 days and would I please reset it.

268 days is such a strange number but never mind, I've reset it anyway.

I'm now up and about and tempted to go out in the sunshine but common sense tells me I'm feeling better because I've rested, so nothing too ambitious. DS had just got in with the news that he's passed an assignment. It was one he wasn't optimistic about so that's very good news.

P.S. I think I need to put the money aside every week from now on!

Some spending about to come up: our overdue milk bill! Poor milkman kept missing us so we asked for the details to pay by bank transfer - It dates back to September!!! As I usually work the evening he calls round I hadn't registered how long it had been. :o

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

That would explain a lot. Somehow I want to send them a bunch of flowers or something to show my appreciation of all their hard work: there must be many hours of it going on behind the scenes.

  • Freezer veg - bought as frozen veg: petit pois, green beans, chopped peppers and sweetcorn. Mixed value veg for the boys. I have a bag each of rajah blocks (85p in MrM) garlic, ginger and chilli from which a curry base is never far way, fast and easy when my hands are playing up.

If they are RTC then I have parsnips, blanched and ready to roast. I love them, everyone else hates them. I tend to add to the peppers bag regularly as I buy the big value bags of fresh ones, and no one likes the green ones raw so they get hidden in chilli.

Waffles because they are the only potato product that both boys will eat! Charliestribe, I feel your pain. DS2 is also known as 'The Boy Who Doesn't eat' so anything he does like is encouraged, regardless of expense or nutritional value. I did buy some oven chips today but they are for me, at least I hope they are oven chips not frying ones. Shouldn't be allowed in shops when I am tired!

Mixed peppers are a good one - we always seem to have wilting fresh ones!

I'd never heard of Rajah blocks but sometimes get to Mr M so I'll have to remember to look in their freezers.

I also had to do a password change  Because it hadn't been changed for 80 days. I didn't realise I'd had this new name for 80 days :rotfl:

I also keep the frozen garlic and ginger too, and red wine and stock. I think I'm a food hoarder :o

I suppose it may have been that because you'd have set up your ID again - you could check against the start of your latest diary - but it looks as though we've all had to do it. I tried to get in again using an old ID but it wants to change my Cherryfudge password yet again as I'd used the same email... so maybe I'm locked out of that ID for good? Or maybe I need to try via a different computer.

I've not long ago thrown out stock from the Christmas before last - reckoned it would never be used. I had old 'fresh' garlic and ginger in the fridge and red wine in the larder - shall we start a thread for food hoarders anonymous? :rotfl:

I hope you are feeling better this evening.

I love frozen veg, except frozen carrots, as I never use up fresh veg quick enough.

My old work colleague passed on a student tip about potato waffles - they cook quickly in the toaster!
