In my early twenties I added my then partner to my bank account. We later split up. Nearly 30 plus years later i still have a joint bank account with his name on it. I can 't get my name off nor his. To close it would require a signature from him. It was my original account.
He was dire with money and I listened to his sob story and put his name with mine. Love is bind.
