https://www.alienlanguage.co.uk -- I made it quite a few years ago, but it still gets plenty of visitors and comments that it is useful for learning parts of the body in French/Spanish/German.0

Slightly different angle to this, but I believe it's really helpful to try to understand how our children learn. There's a fair amount of discussion about 'learning styles': whether your child is a visual, kinaesthetic, auditory or logical learner. (There are other ways of classifying learning styles, one of which includes 'tactile'. Sometimes the model includes only 3, not 4, styles: VAK.)
The basic idea is that if you know your child's learning style, you can tailor lessons to suit and thus make learning easier and more enjoyable.
The learning style or personalisation approach is somewhat new (at least the terminology is) and, like all new approaches, under debate. My understanding is that has borrowed from psychologists and been applied to pedagogy. If human beings take in information through the five senses, then individuals might well have a preferred or dominant sense through which they acquire knowledge.... Having said that, learning style/personalisation approaches also deal with how we organise, remember, and make use of the information we receive (this has to do with left v. right brain dominance).
