It's easy to post words on a forum, 25 doesn't seem all that slow in words, but when your out driving and stuck behind someone doing 25mph, it feels like they're doing 10.
I certainly would, and regularly do.
There are times when doing 25, or even 20, in a 30 limit is appropriate but I think it's a case of using a bit of common sense. Every morning I drive along a good wide road with the houses set well back which, like so many roads, has had the speed limit reduced and is now a 30. At 7am there is barely a soul to be seen, but I still encounter people doing 20-25 and I don't hesitate to go around them.
One regular crawler in a Nissan Almera gets quite irate as I go past, flashing his lights and using all sorts of hand gestures. We've built up quite a rapport.0 -
