Hi all x
Valli well done!
Never got a chance to post, was going to say today but actually it was yesterday. DD has just been up there being sick so I will stay up for a while to make sure she has definitely settled.
Nothing off my list but I've eaten a frog and sorted out DS2 wardrobes and drawers and DD sorted through her things. So that's 2 black bags of clothes and 1 of trainers from DS2 and 1 of books, toys and dvds from DD to go to the CS.
Lots of washing done, just the bedding to get done now and I've caught up (best 30 seconds of the week).
HHI completed and my dailies done.
Off to read for a bit, the TV is rubbish.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Good morning
FFP - I hope DD is better. Or at least sound asleep right now.
So far this morning: green bin retrieved from down the garden, bed stripped, bedding in WM, and bed remade, DW from yesterday evening unpacked and put away, other loitering random glasses etc wudupa, and a couple of bits of ironing cleared. Oh and DD [STRIKE]shouted at[/STRIKE] called 4 times to get ready...time to unleash the mum shouting....take cover.....0 -
Morning all
Hugs and get well/coping vibes where needed
Valli well done on your achievements
Sorry didn't get i yesterday as work colleague/ friend was ill so I covered her shift.
Her newest DGS arrived early yesterday so I need to speed up the knitting speed on her blanket.
Made mouse ears for the staff in our class were roald dahls witches in transition to mouse stage so need whiskers and ears as well as witchy clothing and gloves.
Busy all day today but will try and do sone catch up flying tonight. (Between checking if April giraffe is going to give birth)
Have a lovely day all.SPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Not keeping up with thread in detail let alone lists.
Was looking forward to my brother coming to stay tomorrow eve till Sun as he was working in the area. Semi-planned food, fitted well with work (I'm doing Fri pm to compensate for a day sick last week).....so last night he rang; work is finishing sooner than expected so he will arrive this eve (our dancing class), stay tomorrow (Mr N and I both working) possibly going home Fri afternoon (I'm working). Hopefully he can stay till Sat but not sure.
So.....all rooms vacuumed.
Slow cooker on.
1 load washing done and hung out.
Small flower arrangement of snowdrops, rosemary and hellebore in spare room; bowl filled with water with hellebore and camellia heads floating in (never mind the dust - I rush to do flowers first!).
I went to work yest and saw 1 student, sat up late finishing another report so I'm whacked which doesn't bode well for starting another report and doing an assessment this afternoon. Sympathy to anyone else who has this cold virus thing, it's so debilitating (but I suppose so is writing reports at midnight).
Never mind it must be spring - Mr N discovered 2 large frogs cuddling in the pond!!!!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all.
Hope your DD is better today, FFP.
Well done for completing your essay, Bossy.
Yesterday went as planned. Today started with a journey past the school to get DH to the GP surgery for 9.00 to have a second stitch removed - you can imagine the chaos when a coach came the opposite direction down the road. Not a good start.
Plan for the rest of the day:
- WM x2
- start reading for my next essay
- sort out holiday dates with DD re DGS1+2 (we might stay with them this time)
- deal with some of the pile of paperwork
- DH was talking about us going out for a walk this afternoon if the rain keeps off.
Catch up later - hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks on offer as needed x0 -
Toaster decrumbed
3 X wm done
Costumes tried on and ironed. I need to eat stomach flattening foods this week.
Towel wash in progress0 -
Bedroom floor vacuumed.
Shower, downstairs loo and kitchen mopped.
Bird feeders filled and recycling put out.
Short jog / chat, followed by longer coffee / chat.
Just sneaking a quick bite to eat and sling a sausage casserole in the SC, then it's grocery shopping and haircut, then back to volunteer before I call it a day.0 -
Hi all x
DD eventually got to sleep at 6 this morning. threw OH out to Mr T at 5am to get some calpol as DD had pains in her stomach but she no more took it and she threw it back up. She's better after her sleep though she's managed a glass of water and held it down, will try her with some soup now.
WM is on, just having a cuppa (I fear there will be many) then I will get started on my list.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0
