Weigh in today for me & I'm not hopeful.
My trousers feel really tight so I don't think I've lost.
Plan is:
B: Tea with milk from HExA
L: Turkey Salad (Lettuce, Tomatoes, Carrot). Muller Yog, 1/4 MelonI'm going to the pub for dinner - I will try to choose wisely but there WILL be wine
10lb to lose & keep off in 20204.5lb/10lb:rotfl:0 -
Great news that you got your ticket MrsR. Nice to have something to look forward to.:)
Not giving feedback suggests they are not very good employers lantanna so maybe best that you didn't end up working for them especially as they weren't prepared to pay for your experience.:(
Well done on choosing a healthier (and cheaper) option than the chippy lush. I notice you've missed tea a few times lately. Maybe you are too tired to eat?:)
It's an absolutely glorious day here and we went for a walk in the sunshine this morning so got a bit of Body Magic in.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: LO ham hash with picklesSpaghetti Bolognese
Syns: squirt of syrup, maybe some Parmesan
I'm planning to do weigh and go somewhere tomorrow morning. My reasoning is if I can weight (and hopefully at least STS) then I'm OK for a few weeks after my holiday next week. If I leave it until Monday or Tuesday then I won't have time to rein back weekend syns. Does that make sense?0 -
Maman WI tomorrow rather than next Monday or Tuesday absolutely makes sense, particularly just before a holiday.
No idea how but actually managed a loss of 0.5lb! Still want to lose 2.5lb over the next 2 weeks so I don't have to book holiday!!! for the following week.
Had some really good tasters this morning although there was quite a few bits I wouldn't eat as a waste of syns! like tiny packets of Space Raiders (3 syns) and even tinier choc bars (again 3 syns)! I'd rather have a glass of wine than waste 6 syns on those, lol! All my falafels and choc brownies got eaten so 2 empty boxes to bring home (which I had to go back for when I realised I'd left them behind!).
Today's plan:
B - tasters after WI - stuck to mainly free stuff but had probably 1.5 syns
L - HM butternut squash soup; 1 slice WM bread (0.5 HEB)
D - HM chilli (with added lentils & lots of Speed); rice
S - 2 Ryvita; 1 Laughing Cow (if I need it)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread/Ryvita
Syns - tasters 1.5; laughing cow 1

nice as it is the chippy tea just doesn't appeal any more. they do chicken kebab but its too much meat for me to eat (I don't get the pitta/wrap) and I hate food waste - they do a spring roll which is quite filling as its large but I've no idea how to syn it plus always feel it wasn't worth it afterwards!
I tend to eat lunch quite late (2.15-2.45 this afternoon) so I'm not always hungry by tea time or I may just have scrambled egg and beans or a couple of chicken nuggets (1.5 syn each) it will be easier for me come summer as I still love salad with a passion!
keep having to push my goal further away as I'm just not hitting my losses consistently (I think I've gained this week. will find out tomorrow!) don't think there's any point in asking the doc or anything though as the only time I did they did some blood tests for thyroid function but they came back okI almost wish there was something making it so hard! I need to find the time to do my dvd/generally be more active. again that will be easier with lighter nights and as they have built a park < 50 yards from our house with a big field bit me and littlie can go out for a kick around/play after tea each night

Weighed in this morning and its -1.5lbs for me this week. Very happy with that as it got me into the next stone bracket and I also got my 1½ stone award. :j
Taster session was great - tried lots of new bits and pieces, and will certainly look up the recipes for a couple of them. The tortilla all went (so it can't have been that bad...:rotfl:), and the biscuits seemed popular, too!
Now for the confession time. After weigh in I went and met a friend for lunch...in Frankie & Benny's!! I'm not going to worry about what I had (I did swap chips for salad - but forgot to ask them to hold the dressing...:(), so I will draw a line and start again tomorrow. The plus side is that I'm so full from lunch, I'm pretty certain that I'm not going to need any dinner!
Tomorrow's menu plan is:
B: Cheese omelette (HExA) with mushrooms & tomatoes
L: Leek & potato soupChilli (lots of additional speed in it!) & rice
Still trying to work out where HExB will figure - probably an Alpen Light bar in the evening, or a wholemeal thin with lunch...

Evening all, haven't had chance to post for a couple of days but I have very much been on track (well, 18 syns yesterday but only 9 today...). Really hoping for a loss tomorrow to kickstart myself, I feel like I've started to plateau a bit.
Today:
B - Melon and FF Greek yog
D - Pasta bake: Linda Mc sausages and loads of veg
T - Roasted salmon and cherry toms with mushrooms and grated courgette fried in soy sauce
HEA - Milk
HEB - None
Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), mozzarella on pasta bake (3), hot choc (2) = 9
And I've been out in the garden all afternoon hacking a wayward hydrangea to bits. And something else that I think was a weed that's got so out of hand its stalk was all woody and I had to saw it. I now have three binbags of garden waste and a bad back. And a bald hydrangea - I hope it bushes up a bit!!
Well done to those of you getting losses, such a lot of awards this week too!
Lantanna, I haven't watched The Replacement yet, I thought it was on tonight but then looked and found I'd missed it again. I'll catch up on both before next Tues though. Currently trying to slim down my telly box so watching a few things I taped over Christmas. Ethel and Ernest next with my hot chocolate.
And I agree with Maman - if they can't even be bothered to give a bit of feedback then you don't want to be working for them. Don't lose hope.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Another good day so far; think I'm back on track (until Saturday night at least!)
Had the luxury of being on a course today so meant I didn't have to get into work at 7am and eat at my laptop whilst getting my classroom set up for the day! Didn't start until 9:30 so was able to cook myself some breakfast. Also managed to avoid biscuits on the course too!
B: 2 eggs fried in frylight, tinned plum tomatoes and some ham
L: Salad with boiled egg and new potatoes in it. Satsuma and a muller lightChicken breast with chip shop curry sauce, butternut squash crinkle chips, onions and mushrooms (was going to have regular chips but decided I'd up my speed instead)
Supper: In a moment I'm going to make myself a coconut mocha using Alpro dark chocolate almond milk as HeA and littlies coconut coffee. With have 2 hifi bars for HeB and still need to decide what to have to use my syns. Possibly a few digestive thins.0 -
The Replacement was just fab
