NST Muddy March Marathon

Apple glad that your exercise injuries are healing.
Abundant I love your posts, don't worry if they're 'next day'. My days and nights are flexible as all the creatures I live with sleep in the day and play at night.
FurryBeastOz sorry you didn't get a time for your run. The one I watched was a mud bath – the surrounding paths and grassland were wet and marshy in places so the bit that 300 people went across.
Indigowarrior excellent decluttering (enjoy your holiday).
Mrshubbard what a wonderful surprise from your mum – now you can put your garden plans into action.
EE Belated congratulations on clearing your credit card.
Skint Teacher Is the tape to strap them down or are you doing the U-shape to hold them up. I always laugh at the 'if you can hold a pencil....' - some of us can hold a pencil case.
Toni'sfriend as others have said, we will be here for you over the coming weeks and months. My brother died at the age of 47 (tenth anniversary this month).
Greent happy you sent your DD back to university fully stocked.
Thrifty your weekend with friends sounds lovely.
Indigowarrior well done on the NSDs.
F0xh0les laughing at your 'crazy, neurotic people'. Next door were a bit like that but only in their house – their kids and animals could wreck other people's/ communal property and they didn't turn a hair.
Calling sorry you seem to be having a 'paying out' month. I would go ahead with the haircut, you need a boost (unless the migraine precludes it).
EE good luck with your Kondoing.
Little man's reading books sound fun
Swimminginaseaofdebt enjoy your reading and well done on finding someone who could use the nappies.
Apple two frogs in one day, wow. I did think about putting them in the challenge.
Mrshubbard Little man's reading books sound fun.
Skint teacher 'Kong Marine' – can't you just see that gorilla ina fetching little sailor suit (sounds like deBono's mind maps).
Dizzybind clocking up the NSDs.
Tog I might try crochet again but need to get the embroidery under control first. Love the 'date night' with the sewing machine.
Speky no tattoos or nakedness then, over spending can be put right.
Ccl Hugs. Look after yourself (easier said than done, I know).
Lauralozzle snap to rinsing out the last little bit of jars and cans, even the juice from the pineapples get saved for another day (I'm only allowed a very small amount).
Abundant a sense of humour and the ability to find the 'funny side' (takes a bit of searching sometimes) will get you through a lot. As one of my son's said (reposted on bookface) “What doesn't kill us – gives us a very dark sense of humour and a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms”.
Swimminginaseaofdebt keep chipping away at that debt.
Fmess Hugs. Just 'keep going wit' yed down'.
Bizzle well done on working through your food stores and for thinking more about what you 'need' to buy.
Thrifty how lovely that your DS liked chess club.

Bit of an expensive day - car serviced, and quick Lidl trip. Gearing up for going away again.
Weight loss is going well but I haven't been able to give up the Pepsi Max completely. I've switched to decanting large bottles to save a bit more though.
Spent sun-up to sun-down at work so haven't seen any greenery. I'll try and get out tomorrow.
I may manage a bit of reading in the bath. Fingers crossed.
Failed to go to running club though. Left work late - 0645 class tomorrow. Before I take car back to garage. Halfway home a tyre warning light came on:mad:Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Went to crafts (£1 bus hop). No progress on my stuff as I was doing bits for 'fairy houses'. A drainpipe (to cover a folding mistake), then trellis covered in leaves and flowers, more windows and doors, suggested what someone could use to make 'ivy'.
One person is making 7 fairy houses (for friends I presume) and they all think the little square windows look best. That would be the little square windows with 4 holes cut to look like window panes. The ones I decided not to do more of after ripping the side at least once for every one successfully cut out (I nearly said some bad words).
Have cut one door (with an oval 'glass' panel in the front) and two sets of 4 windows, with 4 little panes cut in each one (and 'can we do more next week?'). I keep emphasising that as the fairies have made these houses, nothing will be perfectly square or symetrical as the fairies will just use any materials they find lying around the forest floor.
Very tired - must look like I'm on my last legs as the school crossing lady told me to be careful I didn't fall. Walked home and did a small shop. Otherwise the plan is to use up what is left in the freezer (moved thing up into the top drawers), then defrost, clean and restock with baking and a batch cook.
Today I am grateful for crafts (easy and undemanding conversatin and companionship), for the chance of a lie in tomorrow (local history partner has an appointment, so have the morning free) and the chance to rest when I got in.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Evening
Today I am grateful for:- The weather - in all it's changeable glory
- My day off to recharge
- For full food cupboards and freezer
Calling14 - Here's hoping it goes well!!! I'm just not in the zone at the moment lol... Any tips haha!!!
Use it or lose it : Weight Loss - I read an few articles about exercising when fasted (e.g. 30 mins cardio first thing in the morning (getting your HR to 60-75% of age predicted max (220 - age), as it allegedly kicks your body into converting your fat stores, and helps boost your metabolism for the day. I went for a walk/run - in the rain this am which counted as my nature walk too! I'm going to give it a go for 14 days (might be indoors mostly before work), alongside upping my water intake. I will keep you posted!!!
Wellbeing : Read a book - I started one a couple of days ago - have 2 on the go now. It's my intention to try and branch out and try new fictional authors too.
Off to chill now, and then an early-ish night.⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

The S button on my laptop has decided to stop working, very annoying as it means that I can't log in to the forum on it. Hoping that it will suddenly start working and I won't have to take it to get repaired. In the meantime, I'll just have to post from my phone.
Had a few screen free days so haven't been posting. Still stuck on 3 NSDs, seem to have been buying things everyday. Did a big shop today so should manage to get a few NSDs now.
Right away to read back everything I've missed, hope everyone is ok.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

ChasingSunshine chocolate is a struggle for me too - I just have to cut it out altogether.
SkintTeacher Poor OH and poor you but well done on fitting in your training.
Greent glad you had a good night's sleep and good going on the debt busting front.
Apple such a lot of things to be grateful for.
FurryBeastOz what a difficult day. Keep cutting back and you will beat the Pepsi max. If you are eating well otherwise you might find it suddenly tastes weird as you refine your taste buds.
Abundant sounds like a productive day off. I try to convert my fat stores by wearing slightly less clothing than is comfortable so my body will be forced to burn calories to keep warm.
Misstara how annoying - do you know anyone with enough knowledge to change the key so that eg the $ sign prints out the s for you (you could cope with the odd missing capital. DS3 had quite a few keys missing before he made enough money to replace his old laptop - he was using 4 for A and at one point had to connect it to a seperate keyboard to get anything out of it (and leave it switched on so that he could bypass the password). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Morning all,
Yesterday wasn't a NSD, as expected. No Wednesday is for me.
Today should be. In fact, this should be the run of a few days - purely because I can't afford to do otherwise. Might prove difficult because of the rugby and the Old Firm on Sunday. I'll do my best.0
