Thanks Sid, hadn't seen that one. Looks pretty nice.

Not sure that I like the K850i, looks a bit blokey?

Just a bit concerned about going back to a Nokia because the last one I had was a nightmare (admittedly it was several years ago!).

Going into my local town today, we only have one mobile shop (O2) so will go and pretend to be interested, and try some out.

    Suggestions are still welcome! x

  • I've moved to the 6120 after having owned Ericsson/SonyEricsson phones non-stop for about 10 years since having the original "Nokia Orange" many many years ago and having a Lobster TV phone for a few months recently.

I have a work blackberry and it sucks. Yes good for email (with the service and cost to go with it!), but absolute rubbish for everything else.

b.t.w. the 6120 weighs just 89g - I keep forgetting where I've put it when I pop it into my shirt pocket! Only downside is it kills the battery to have 3G on all the time but you can switch it on/off without rebooting the phone so I just use it if necessary to browse the web.

I've also put on Windows Live so it can check my hotmail from within the mail inbox - nice and neat. next thing is a remote control application for my PC at home over the web :) will do that this weekend.

Hey if you want to move to T-mobile and want £20 credit PM me and I'll give you the details for recommend-a-friend (I'd get £20 too).

Thanks Sid, unfortunately I'm already with T Mobile! x

I didn't make it to the O2 shop to check out the phones, but am quite convinced by your opinion of the 6120.

Next stop is to call T Mobile and see what they can offer me as a retention deal! x

No worries. Yes good luck with retentions - with some luck you can get that phone free (depends on the last year's spend though). Alternatively buy one off eBay and take the £10/£15 a month off they might offer you.

ive got a k810i and my mates got a k800i.

the joystick/buttons are so much more better on the k810i than the k800i.

the lens cover is less bulky on the k810i, so it wont come open as easy as the k800i one does

Just spoken to T Mobile, they initially offered me the Flext 35 on a 12 month contract with a K810i for £35. When I told them that on their website it was £30 to new customers, she said they would match that (wow - thanks!). I said no to that, then got offered £28 (whoopidoo!) and finally got them down to £25.

Not sure that I want to stay with them after their cheeky attempt to get me to pay more than a new customer (my average spend for the past year has been over £40)! x
