How many holiday days do you get?

Following that previous thread I would be interested to see how many days people employed (public or private) get per year. I am talking about days NOT INCLUDING the bank holidays which I think are 8 days per year on top.
Obviously this is based on full time 35-40 hour per week so please pro-rata if you work part time.

The minimum allowed by law is 28days including bank holidays, your poll should have started at 20 days.0

20
Was 21 in a data entry role from offset; the actual very best was in a telesales role I found surprisingly.0 -

as there are quite a few rogue employers paying sub minimum wage there are probably also ones that short change on paid holiday0 -

Less than 15Self employed - I don't get holidays in the sense of the poll.0

Too much really - always end up carrying annual leave over to a new leave year. Relatively low salary - can't afford to do anything nice when taking leave so would happily reduce in exchange for an increase in salary.0 -

I think the poll should have been total days, my old work I got 28 days, which included 5 bank holidays, we didn't get the rest
I now get 27 plus bank holidays, but get 9 bank and public holidays.
I know some places that get 12 public holidays.0 -
Zilch
actually that's not really true. I'm zero hours so my holidays get paid if and when I take them in a financial year
However I only work around 20 hrs a week, my holiday is usually paid end of year0 -
27-2828 + 8. The 8 are just added on as annual leave to be taken anytime thought, you don't have to work them to get an extra day off for them either.0

31-34I work for a bank and work all bank holidays except Easter Sunday. Get about six weeks off a year.0
