+1 for VLC , It has played everything i have ever thrown at it !!0

Technically you need to buy a license to play "DVD/Blu-Ray" content from "MPEG-LA".
That's usually covered in the price you pay for a stand alone DVD.Blu-Ray player.
But with PC's the license is usually in the cost of the software player.
Software like VLC get around this fee by using Open Source DVD/Blu-Ray decryption software instead of the officially licensed versions.
so stick with VLC and you won't go wrong...Laters

Instead of VLC you could try MPC-HC. It is also free.0

HPC-MC link: https://mpc-hc.org/
First result in Google when searching for MPC-HC. It really wasn't difficult to find the link.0 -
yup, between vlc and MPC I don't think there's anything I've not been able to play..
hint: if using MPC, the full codec pack is useful to have......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

Hi
for what it's worth, I use GOM Player for my laptop, but use VLC on my tablet.
