NCP are highly unlikely to try court (we saw one case with multiple PCNs which they discontinued last month, as they must have realised it was hopeless!).

You were only ever getting debt collector letters, and sometimes they go quiet for a year or more! Sometimes they wait and hope you've moved house, then send more letters and the PPC then starts a claim the person knows nothing about and PPC scum get a default CCJ. To avoid that, make sure you see ALL letters for 6 years, and write to tell them if you move house.

Nothing more needed, unless a claim arrives - unlikely from NCP!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, not sure how to proceed with an NCP parking charge notice. Vehicle was parked in an NCP car park for approximately 20 minutes. Having parked the car, went to the pay and display payment machine and bought a ticket for 1 hour. now received a parking charge notice despite paying and displaying. no longer have the ticket so cannot prove paid. Any advice on how to proceed ?

Hi, not sure how to proceed with an NCP parking charge notice. My daughter parked in an NCP car park for approximately 20 minutes. Having parked her car, she went to the pay and display payment machine and bought a ticket for 1 hour.
She has now received a parking charge notice despite paying and displaying. She no longer has the ticket so can’t prove she payed. What should we do ?

Read the newbies thread and start your own, you have hi-jacked an old thread which makes things confusing!
