BT Price Rises - BT Mobile tie

Interestingly, despite the "over the phone" acceptance in retaining the discount on my BT mobile once I have left, I have now received an email with the big heading " You'll lose your BT Mobile discount when you move your broadband". This is clearly in breach of their own T&C.
I have raised a complaint
Also, the email mentions I am not entitled to a refund on the Line Rental Saver paid up front. I am sure I read somewhere that OFCOM have slapped down BT on this - and customers must receive the refund.
Anyone else experienced the above type emails?0 -
@TVPIPE, yes I received an email and also a letter through the post about losing the BT Mobile discount.
I would expect that after discussing my specific case with them on the phone, and them agreeing to extend the discount for the minimum term as per their T&Cs, that this would stand unless specifically informed otherwise.
My assumption is that these are generic emails/letters that are sent out, once a customer leaves BT, that can be ignored as I had specifically spoken to them about my case. Though I will be checking my bills.
I no longer had Line Rental Saver when my BT contract ended, so can't comment on that part of it.0 -
