Thanks mate and don't mean to sound rude but as it is i am annoyed and don't want sarcasm
I understand people have their view
One thing that worries me is, she has given my number to those accident companies and hungry to make a bit of money and they say they are her insurance but i know they are not
It seems they are one of those annoying firms like ppi
Do they work on no win no fee basis0 -
I am getting nervous re this and annoyed i might have been victim of insurancr fraud
Any hints on what things to look out for is much appreciated0 -
Have you given your insurance a copy of the video along with your statement of events? There is not much more you can do until they come back with a decision.
I had an incident, completely different to yours (third party smashed into my open rear door). Opinion on here was it would go 50/50. My insurance decided I was 100% to blame
I argued alot, kept speaking to a person higher up until eventually someone said they would have the file reviewed. On review of the file they decided they would defend it, it went all the way to court where the judge found in my favour. Proves Insurance companies can be persuaded to re-think or perhaps I was just lucky. 0 -
I know a friend who got a ticket for something which was fairly minor , £100 fine or something but because he appealed and failed now he was given 6 points and £1k to pay
Does the same happen with court for motor accidents?
If my insurance defends me and court rules in favour of thrid party for what ever reason, do i as a driver get furtner punishments?0 -

If a motor accident ends up in court over who pays for the damage (ie which insurer) then that is the civil court (county court) and whatever the decision on who is to blame there are no fines/points etc.
You only get fined by the magistrates/crown court after being found guilty of a criminal offence0 -
Im sorry but i dont think you have a chance of winning.
I was reversing out of a car parking space in a very large, open car park. There was a large white van beside me so i was reversing very slow. A woman came speeding into car park and drove straight into me as she was on her phone. She shouldnt have been anywhere near where i was reversing , i was probably 1/4 of the way out. I was to blame (because i was reversing) even after video footage (couldnt see she had her phone, only reason i know was because immediately afterwards she told me she had to take that call as it was the doctor and she was speeding because she was late for work, her story changed though when her husband arrived and he told her not to say anything). Her car was scraped even though it was minor cosmetic damage due to the age of hers they wouldnt repair, she ended up getting a new car. Also she told me her car had been in a smash a week previously and she never went through insurance. Insurance company took none of this as evidence.
I always reverse into a space/carpark now and the rules are in favour of those not reversing unfortunately.0 -
Why don't you post the video so we can see it? Upload to YouTube.0

It is easy for you to say this when you have not seen !!!! all
Anyways I justed want some opinion and know i wasn't at fault
Camera mounted on house walls shows i was constantly looking at both side of the road and did not see her.
It also shows she was speeding up and breaks right before hitting the car
Further more, i played the footage back with a player which shows it in millisecond.
Distance travelled in that millisecond shows she was over 45 mph on a 30 mph street!!
When was your camera calibrated to make such accurate measurements? if your answer is "its not" you have no evidence of speedingY car was 3 meters on the main road when thy clipped my tow bar
so her car only JUST came into contact with yours, your tow bar is about 5 inches long, unless you were 100% stationary this is 100% your fault.
she was on the carrigeway, she had right of way, you reversed out, she clipped you while you where moving, if you get 50/50 I'll be amazed.0
