Sorry its a bit difficult to help you as you are giving conflicting answers on post 7 you said
yes i get just the state pension nothing else why i put in for pension credit .
Then in post 19 you say I already get pension credit my worry is there trying to take it all away from me.
If you applied for PC as a couple with your wife, and you gave details of her wages and your state pension and the two amounts added together were less then £237.55 per week (AA is disregarded for means testing) then you would be entitled to a top up of PC to take your income to that amount and there is nothing to worry about
The only issue would be if when you applied for PC you didn't give details of your wife's wages and those wages when added to your pension are too much to be entitled to PC.
Your best bet is instead of worrying about it and making your self ill, is to speak to people who can help you before you have to deal with officialdom and that would be Age UK (I am glad you have emailed them but also ring your local branch) or CAB, give them the details and let them do a benefit check, that way when you have the meeting you will be more in control of things and I am sure Age UK or CAB can tell you how to approach the meeting in a positive way
And if possible get both threads merged as its a bit confusing having 2 threads when people have tried to help you in your first one.0 -

Phil67, I have just seen your post on another forum where you say that you are receiving tax credits and AA.
We cannot help you if you do not give us all the correct information.
To set your mind at rest, please go to CAB with your benefit award letters and bank (PO statements) and let them help you.
You sound in a muddle and it is silly to make yourself so ill with worry.
We keep telling you that this is a check to see if you are receiving the correct benefits - just as the letter says.0 -

He also does not mention that he is in receipt of State Pension or Pension credits on the other site.
Not sure what information you want Phil but you will not get the answers you seem to want if you do not put the full information of what you are actually receiving.0 -
Have you advised the Pension Service when the wages for your wife change - it is possible they have had information from another department that does not match with information held?0

I did say is it about your wife's earnings on one of the many other threads you started elsewhere, if you had not have closed the thread you would have possibly saved yourself days of worry.0 -
