I do not think you have anything to worry about.

This seems to be a letter where they are asking you in to check that you are receiving the correct amount of benefits.

    So is this correct?

You are on state pension and AA.
Your wife is on just the state pension.

Do you own your own house or rent? Do you receive housing benefit and council tax reduction?

You have applied for Pension Credit.

There may be other help available for you if you can answer these questions.

    Thank you.

I still say that you have nothing to worry about.

Just take all the information that they are asking for.

It is possible, given what you have said that your wife may be able to claim Carer's allowance for you.

Whether you are eligible for Pension Credit or not depends on the amount of your state pension added together this your wife's earnings.

    Please don't worry.

You've been told several times, it is a standard check, you've done nothing wrong.

You will be able to take your wife with you, yes.

Your state pension cannot be stopped if that's what you are worried about and attendance allowance is not means tested so your income and savings should not be taken into account only your entitlement to it, my dad gets AA because he is immobile due to a hip operation

If I were you I would contact Age UK before your interview or CAB, as other people have said it may just to be a check that you are getting everything you are entitled to.

However I am still confused about the pension credit part of your post, have you applied for PC and if so have you only applied with details of your own income not realising that you have to claim with your wife as a couple.

You get couples pension credit, did you include your wife's income when you applied?
