What benefit(s) are you on? What is the meeting for?

When they sent the appointment did they tell you what for. Presumably you are receiving state pension, what other benefits do you receive

If all you get is your pension and you have no other household income and no or minimum amount of savings you could well be entitled to some pension credit.

If you are disabled have you ever thought of applying for Attendance Allowance?

I note from your other posts that you have a wife, you would be claiming as a couple so I am a bit confused when you say 'I' instead of 'we' has your wife been called in a for a meeting as well.

How old is your wife, from what I can gather PC is changing and its age of the youngest member of a couple that gives entitlement to PC (which would be 63 at the moment the age when a woman can get state pension) not the oldest, not sure if its just for new claims or if existing claims will be changed.

Did the letter not actually say what it is about.

Ok so you are applying for pension credit, again you wont be applying for PC on your own, you cant if you are part of a couple, is your wife over 63, if so is she on a pension herself, as both incomes will be used for entitlement for PC

You need to apply as a couple, if she gets her pension or any other income that will be taken into account.
