Carole Nash are a great company. You can't get quotes over the Internet though. Call them last when you have got the best possible price as they will generally bend over backwards to give you a better price.
I'm with http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk and haven't found anyone who can get anywhere near their renewal price when my policy runs out in October so it looks like I'm with them next year as well.
Both companies offer breakdown and legal cover - but Carole Nash's breakdown cover extends to Europe while eBike is UK only.

I have to call round for hubbys bike insurance every year. My advice is get yourself a yellow pages and call as many co's as your patience allows, 0800 no's first
I call about 20ish co's each year and calling round definately pays off. One that might be the best deal this year might not be the best next year.

I went with MotorQuote direct (broker) via Quidco and got £40 cashback.
I got paid my cashback in 3 weeks so I thought that was a really good result on a £90 policy.0 -
MCE quoted half the next cheapest firm out of all the major insurers. They include free breakdown insurance. I have been warned off Bennets by more people than I can count.

I checked out the thread on how to find record low premiums for car drivers and thought I'd give it a go for my bike. It's not the smallest thing in the world - it's a ZZR1100 175mph rocket ship!!
Checked out a few comparison sites and those that let you put in 'what's the best quote you received' along with the usual 'we'll beat any quote' to see where we could get to.
In the end, I found Bennets would cover this mad speed machine for £68 TPFT plus by going through Quicdco, I also got £20 cashback making the total cost for a year's hedonism just £48.
SweetNow to pay the road tax

I am also a fan of Carole Nash. I insure 2 small 125 CC road bikes through them 3rd Party Fire & theft for about £160 a year. Not sure if this is the cheapest but I routinely have at least 2 punctures a year and the free puncture repair service almost seems to cover the cost of the insurance. Because they have been pretty good to date in this respect I now just automatically renew each year ( in my 4th year with them now).Be Kind0
