No, we don't need Dispatches to tell us individually but it's good to bring the sharp practice into the public arena and raise awareness.

Kippers today have jumped from £1.50 to £1.75. Hardly a Brexit increase although it is a long journey from Scotland!;)

And again you are avoiding all the other examples posted suggesting a recent policy shift at Sainsbury's.

Why the tribal loyalty to one particular supermarket chain?

I have no loyalty to Sainsburys or any other supermarket ( you will note all my posts saying ALL the supermarkets and brands are at it )

You however are obviously anti-Sainsburys - and using very selective quotes from the original article ( which if you read it shows that Sainsburys are not the worst example found ) to try and back up your views

Thus demonstrating that you aren't even reading the comments on this and the other relevant threads.

To be honest Whisky is not high on many people's shopping lists.

But being able to afford the basics foods for life is.

Enjoy the empty food value of your tipple.

The irony is that I actually do shop at Sainsbury's! I use one for a small top-up shop every week, which is why I am aware of their price increases compared with my other haunts!

Same here. I use it for convenience as I'd have to drive a distance to other SMs.
