I kind of wondered at the time if it was the other way round...
With the troubles out of the way, people felt free to vote their prejudices to the full - hence the rise of the more extreme parties. Peace polarised the vote.0 -
Don't vote, it only encourages them :rotfl:

I assume you're kidding though? It's so important to vote. Young people especially - go out and vote! That's why pols ignore you and make policies that suit older people - because they vote.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

What does everyone say to the ones who come round the doors canvassing? I've had two so far recently and I know virtually nothing about politics. They introduce themselves but then just stand there, waiting. I even embarrassed one of them by thinking he was from a completely different party.0

I would firstly vote on party policy then on the ability in my opinion for the candidates in order of preference who I feel would be able representatives.
In my area there are none that meet that criteria so what should I do?0 -
They should have a box for 'None of the above'. Lots of people don't vote not because they're lazy. They just dislike all the parties.0
