If you get anything from DVLA or Mil that is helpful regarding use of data would you mind letting me have a copy. Dealing with MIL myself at the moment.

Mil also informed me they will using Section 35(2)(a) of DPA but surely that plays to the Champerty and maintenance argument? They have just confirmed that they purchased the debt with the intention of pursuing it in court.

    Of course!

    The issue isn't Section 32.

The issue is, they didn't request the data themselves! Its an unlawful use of someones personal information!

The DVLA is serious about this! I mean they called me! No the other way around!

the DVLA can do no more than suspend an operator , that in a lot of cases has closed down , they have been "serious" about this for 2 yrs + , but cannot do anything

if the ICO get involved it will take mths or even yrs , MIL will morph to a new company (LIM) and will just buy the outstanding assignments

When I'm finished with this the director is going to wish he never started a company....

the whole POFa 2012, the need for legislation and a ATA that was watched over (ISPA) , and standards has all gone

the DVLA say , nothing to do with us , ask the ATA , who say "we are not a reg ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"

a large explosion will be needed to sort this out now

I have refrained from mentioning the IAS , as my mummy said never take the !!!! out of clowns
