Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

Thats why I explained it was her first attempt :p

    It was a bit wonky.

I got home from work and it was all done :T

I've just had Mushroom fried rice that Mr Quackers made and I'm hoping I'm allowed the tail for pudding :D:D:D:D

Ooh what a lovely idea! Can I join in? I've never baked a cake before (I used to make killer mud pies though. Unfortunately, that was literally so I've had to stop making them :D)

I'm going to make a ake tomorrow and I'll post a piccy! I don't know who to give it to though... I would give it to my lovely Mum but I'm 5 hours away and it might get squished in the post.

Hmm I want to give it to someone who reeeally won't expect it. This'll take some thought... I'm very excited, thanks Mr B.E!
Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself. Oscar Wilde

Send Mum a picture of it too. :T

I'm sure she will understand you couldn't post it. Or make her one when you go back.

Quackers, that's so cool! I'm going to make carrot cake later in the week to cheer up people at work. :) But I can't do it until tuesday because I don't have any cottage cheese until my tesco delivery turns up (and even then I'm not sure it won't have been substituted with a jar of pickled herrings). :)

  • happy belated birthday Mr B. I only just found this thread. I was planning to make cakes today, but got called into work instead. I will make and post picture when I have a day off, eventually. Maybe take one to work as that would be unexpected.

  • Another one to say Happy Belated Birthday .

Does the fact i baked 48 fariy cakes, 20 pieces of flapjack, a double malteser tray bake thing and 30odd of twinks hobnobs (which turned out like oaty cookies, yummy ) for Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday count? I took them into work and we raised £36.51 :T. Got no photos though, sorry....
