July 2014. I have seen online that you are able to request Lowell to remove this default. Has anyone done this and had it removed successfully?
Thanks0 -
He can just tell people he has a 999 score.
No one will ever know.0 -
What would his reasons be for having the default removed.
Was it placed in error?0 -
No it was placed as he was stupid and thought he could run away from a small payment, obviously the world doesn't work like that. He has learnt from it though and has no other issues on his report.
Found this online - http://www.learnmoney.co.uk/credit-file/small-defaults.html0 -
You could ask, but there's little reason for them to remove it.
Has he settled the default?0 -
How much is a small payment?Debt As Of 19/3/2021: £16,973 | Current Debt: £9,322 | 54.9% Repaid0

Whilst you can certainly ask them to remove the default if he pays the debt in full then frankly they shouldn't remove it because his file is supposed to be a reflection of his past. It will fall off his credit file in 6 years from the default date anyway unless they seek a CCJ if the debt is unsettled.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I doubt they'll remove it since he paid it as you Acknowledge default is right and paid it off.Debt As Of 19/3/2021: £16,973 | Current Debt: £9,322 | 54.9% Repaid0
