ooh you are brave! I really struggle being by my self and could never imagine going to the cinema/out for dinner alone! i struggle going to the supermarket alone lol.
I will get there, its a bit like grieving i suppose.
I went food shopping today and despite having a list still spent £4 over! although i have enough meat/food to last for a long time now which is good
Overloaded the washing machine today and now its omitting a burning smell and the clothes smell burnt too! hoping it will settle, thankfully its under warranty still so may need to call someone out.
Out for a carvery later and parents are paying, really need to reign in next week, i am hoping to do at least 5 NSDsTesco Loan - 91770 -
I have 9 years on you and i think as I have got older I have got a bit more confident and a bit to hell with it attitude. An abusive relationship attacks your self esteem so you are going to be a bit more fragile than you would normally be - I realise some people would never go to the cinema alone anyway. I am happy being on my own most of the time and don't want to miss out on stuff so I put a facade on of confidence and go and do it...fake it until I make it!
B@gger about the washing machine! Don't tell them you overloaded it but do call them out. My machine was written off a few months ago as kept boiling my clothes and they said it was a fire hazard...luckily I had forgotten to cancel my insurance for it and got a brand new one for free!
Hope you have a lovely time with your parents, nice to have lunch togetherHappiness is wanting what you have...0 -
well today has been quite a success - due to downsizing i have lots of things to sell, managed to sell:
xbox 360 + dvds/books = £28.92 music magpie
canvas' x 5 = £35
Floor lamp = £25
Going to put all this towards CC. Dad paid for dinner which was lovely, i also gave him my CC to stop my unnecessary spending
AngelPye - I would love to be like that, maybe one day i will be brave too. I have just put another load on (lighter this time) so fingers crossed the clothes come out nicer! if not then i will phone them tomorrow and book someone to come out. Definitely won't tell them i overloaded it lol x

Just stay around it when its on so you can check on it. Might just be the weight made something rub or something. I am no expert! Ha!
Well done on the selling, always admire peoples motivation as just don't ever seem to get round to it myself even though have loads to go!
Hope you have a nice evening. Watching Call the Midwife here - love the innocence of itHappiness is wanting what you have...0 -

Hmm i am a stickler for clutter lol if i don't need it it goes! it is quite an effort though arranging delivery/collection etc. You get some right cheeky !!!!!!s as well who don't want to pay hardly anything for good items.
Really must sort my lunch for tomorrow as i won't do it in the morning. Do you have a diary Angelpye?Tesco Loan - 91770 -

Do you Facebook sell or ebay?Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -
Today has been a non spend day yay!
there is a down side to selling things on facebook its all the organising and waiting in/delivering things!!
I spoke to water company today who have agreed to put my bill down to £14 - I complained because they put my bill at £29 for just me living in a one bedroom house! Just got to try and get my other bills down now - Hoping to get all my bills down to around 750 (maybe wishful thinking!)
