Morning everyone!
Ally - I hope your interview goes well
All those who are poorly, I hope you get better soon
We are home! (Well actually got home yesterday afternoon). It was a good break and it was lovely to spend time with my friend but I'm always glad to get back to normal and my own bed. I guess I'm a creature of habit!
Going to post a "mega-list" today that will likely roll over to tomorrow. I've got lots that I want to do before I go back to work on Saturday (DO NOT WANT!)- B/L/D from stores
- Make a loaf of bread - done
- Research and download new grocery list app (OH likes to be able to see it too but previous one didn't really sync right) - done
- Sew at least the bottom ribbing onto my cardi. I crocheted all the bits by about September last year then it got complicated joining it up and I flaked out
- Put washing away - first lot away - ongoing!
- Do more washing - more on
- Put suitcases away - done
- Finish the mega meal-plan. This is taking a while as OH will not sit down and do it with me. He thinks it's a five min job. It's a 2 hour job at least  - made a start. this is harder than I expected. 4 done so far.
- Go for a run at lunchtime if weather ok - feeling a bit tied and meh so not going
- Start planning what seeds can be sown
- Get OH to take me to the garden centre for compost
Have a good one all

Wohoo! I complained to my cc company (I know I said I don't usually complain but they told me a delayed payment wouldn't effect my credit score and it did so I complained as its a serious thing) and they have credited my CC with £50! That was worth a phone call and although my credit score cant be amended because I was actually late its nice to get £50 off! All helps!Happiness is wanting what you have...0

Hello Campers,
Busy day. Money saving bits of it are:
*Some of last night's leftovers for lunch.
*Started tidying greenhouse - sowed broad beans & 3 free packets of flower seed.
*Checked all the baby strawberry plants I potted up last autumn from runners. 1 had carked it, 3 in ITU, the other 40 are looking fine......which should mean free strawbs, all being well!
*Planted up a lovely ceramic pot I received for Christmas with primulas gifted to me by friends at the weekend.
*Laundry on heated airer & drying well.
*Rubber chicken l/os will be made into a nice chunky stew tonight with mash & whatever veg most needs using. Aiming to get a freezer portion too.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch & breakfast.
*Did a few surveys plus sorted a problem with an app for a longer survey panel project I'm on at the moment.
*Tipped out shrapnel pot & bagged £7 of change for paying in tomorrow.
*No downstairs heating on until at least 5pm.
*Pack bag ready for tomorrow's morning in town. Need to drop off small knitting order first, have things to post, money to pay in, various things that won't be done if I find I've left them at home on my desk.
*Knit a bit more of current project.
That's it for today.
Purple Fairy - Yes. I'm calorie counting. It's the only thing that works for us as mr f's default setting is huge portions (& beer) and I'm a shocking nibbler.....cos we all know, don't we, that if it isn't eaten at meal times, it doesn't actually count. Doing Rosemary Conley's 1,2,3 Diet where you have 2 light days a week on 800 calories & 5 of normal eating. I have to restrict my normal days to 1500 calories now that I'm a woman of a certain age, but after 800, that seems like loads, so am doing ok. I received a big diary for Christmas & I'm using it to track my daily calorie intake. Am also only weighing myself every fortnight so more likely to be showing a loss, although weeks where I haven't lost anything have, to be fair, mostly been those weeks when I have been more than acquainted with various baked goods.........
Off to start making my chicken stew now,

Actually cannot believe it's Wednesday night before I've had a chance to post on here this week. It's been manic and although half term is finally in sight I still have another 2 days at work to survive - plus naughty tortie is at the vet again tomorrow night. £££££
Rude awakening on Monday morning. The boiler had gone off and I just couldn't get it to fire up again - so no heating or hot water. Thankfully, my friend's dh is a gas engineer so he came round after I got home from work. It just needed something adjusting (or cleaning or something) and took less than 20 minutes but it cost £60. I swear I'm in the wrong job. Then had to take ds to his swimming lesson. It was 8pm before I finally got to settle for the night, and I have to take ds to bed at half past...
Yesterday was just as busy - full day of teaching followed by revision classes, followed by ds football training and another 8pm finish. Didn't sleep well at all last night and as a result I've been up since about half three this morning, with day 2 of a headache I just can't seem to get rid of. There isn't much mse stuff going on although I am sticking to the meal plans I've been doing and have chalked up 2 nsd's since the boiler incident. Hope everyone is doing ok.Not giving up
