I get drowsy and forgetful. I rely on my family as i am unable to do practical everything independently
The assessor said that I was wide awake, could answer questions in a clear and understandable way and there was no sign of tiredness and my memory was better than average!!
Mind you I did go into the assessment room swinging my walking stick in my arm!0 -
I don't understand why anyone thinks it's worth recording it covertly.
The best reason for recording is to make sure that the assessor records the claimant's responses accurately and doesn't lie about the claimant doing physical tests when they didn't - seeing the recording devices on the table in front of them leads to much more accurate reports.
Maybe some people just don't trust the liars working for ATOS.0 -
I Confirmed my own DWP assessment today and requested that it be recorded. Was duly noted and I was told that a recorded assessment was not a problem (DWP recording it).0

For PIP you have to supply the equipment and that the you will have to hand a copy of the recording over to the assessor whilst keeping a copy for yourself.
The DWP's stance on recording a PIP assessment is that it isn't necessary. Everything is done in a fair and impartial way. ummmmm!!0 -

If they did, then I would not have needed to go to a Tribunal.0 -

True, my bathroom adaptions were ignored. I've now took photos of them and asked my housing officer to sign a letter confirming they did the adaptations in 2009 and that the photos are of my bathroom.0 -

That's why they need to see the equipment in front of them, recording everything they say and everything you say.0 -
